  11. 1. Installation / Uninstallation of Virtual Skipper :

  13. * Doubleclick on "Setup.exe "
  14. * Clic on the " Install Virtual Skipper " button
  15. * Select the directory in wich you want to install Virtual Skipper 
  16. * Click on the "OK" button to validate your choice
  17.  
  18. Wait until the end of the installation
  19. You can now play Virtual Skipper 
  20.  
  21. UNINSTALLATION
  22. * Click on the 'Start' button, 'Programs', 'VirtualSkipper Demo', 'Virtual SKipper Setup'
  23. * Click on the 'Uninstall Virtual Skipper' button
  24. * The game will be uninstalled after confirmation of your choice

  27. 2. Virtual Skipper configuration :
  28. The first time you play Virtual Skipper, you must define a 3D configuration.
  29. This will be done simply by the following:

  31. * Click on the 'Start' button, 'Programs', 'VirtualSkipper Demo', 'Virtual SKipper Setup'
  32. * Click on the "3D Configuration" button
  33.  
  34. Depending on the 3DBoard you are using, you can choose between:
  35. * Direct 3D (Common choice)
  36. * Glide
  37. * OpenGL
  38.  
  39. a) Direct 3D display:
  40. * To use all the power of your 3D hardware, you must select the "3D accelerated" button
  41. * You can choose to play in windowed mode or in full screen mode (default)
  42. * Choose the desired resolution : 640 * 480 - 800 * 600 etc. 
  43. * Click on the " OK " button to validate your choices

  45. b) Glide display
  46. * Choose the desired resolution : 640 * 480 - 800 * 600 etc. 
  47. * Click on the " OK " button to validate your choices

  49. c) OpenGL display:
  50. * Choose the desired resolution : 640 * 480 - 800 * 600 etc.

  55. 3. DirectX7 TM
  56. Virtual Skipper needs DirectX 6.1(TM) or higher version to run.
  57. You can easily install DirectX 7(TM) by the following:

  59. * Click on the "Start" button, "Programs", "Virtual Skipper Demo", " Virtual Skipper Setup"
  60. * Click on the "Install DirectX 7(TM)  button". This will connect you to the Microsoft Web site.

  62. We recommand you to restart your computer once the installation is done.
